The GreenLaunch Roadshow aims to educate, empower, and support cohorts of individuals in the region that may be seeking to start up a business, or explore self-employment, with a specific focus on environmental sustainability.

During the workshop, participants will explore how to build a responsible business (social and environmental), map out their ideas, identify and reach customers, and fund their business, whilst also learning key communication skills for business including pitching. This interactive workshop would be split into two sessions, each covering three core concepts:
1. Sustainable Business Practice
We will begin by exploring sustainable business practices, before learning some top tips that all businesses can use for adopting more sustainable practices, that are good for the planet, and good for green business!
2. Design Thinking and Creative Problem Solving
Next, participants collaborate in pairs or small groups, taking part in exercises that enhance creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to tackle real-world challenges through an established human-centric approach.
3. Mapping Out Your Idea (Business Model Canvas)
With an understanding of sustainable business practices and ideation, we will map our ideas onto the Sustainable Lean Model Canvas (LMC), a helpful visual guide for building a full and detailed picture of an idea/business.

4. Mastering Market Research
This activity will develop participants understanding of customer needs and target markets. This will include identifying your target market and its size and value, customer engagement tips, and a customer-centred approach to proposition.
5. Funding Your Idea
With an understanding of customers and target markets, participants will cover the essentials of cost structures and revenue streams, so they can understand how to make a profit with their business ideas.
6. Communication is Key
The final activity will focus on the critical skill of communication, guiding participants through techniques to present, pitch, and tell their story with confidence and clarity.
