Are you passionate about creating positive change in your local area? "Make A Difference In Your Community" is an engaging introductory course designed to immerse you in the world of Community Learning and Development (CLD).
Please register your interest to attend this course by 22nd January. PLEASE NOTE: booking a ticket only indicates your interest in this course. Please DO NOT take it as confirmation of a place on the course - we will be in touch after the closing date to let you know if you have been successful or not.
This course will guide you through the foundational concepts of CLD, helping you understand its impact and potential in transforming communities and yourself.
You will explore the diverse career paths and opportunities within this field, from community organizing to developmental planning, and discover how these roles contribute to local well-being. In addition to theoretical knowledge, this course emphasizes practical experience.
You will have the opportunity to engage directly with community organizations in Clackmannanshire, applying what you've learned to real-world scenarios. This hands-on approach will equip you with valuable skills and insights, preparing you to make a tangible difference in your own community. Join us to begin your journey in Community Learning and Development and start making a meaningful impact where it matters most.

To be eligible for this course, you must: 1. Be a resident of Clackmannanshire 2. Be aged between 16 and 67. 3. NOT currently be enrolled in full-time education. 4. NOT be working more than 17.5 hours a week.
